New Apple Pay Casinos
Apple Pay is a digital wallet payment service maintained by Apple. It works by storing the information that is on your regular credit or debit card on your phone. Then using the NFC technology in a compatible Apple device, Apple Pay can make payments at contactless points of sale. The NFC antenna is a “dedicated chip that stores encrypted payment information” (known as the Secure Element), and Apple’s Touch ID and Wallet.
There are no additional fees or charges that you need to pay to use Apple Pay. It is linked to the bank account and cards that you are already using which makes it really easy to start using. When you think about it, this service and services like it could very well be the end of the bank card. Everyone carries their phone with them everywhere they go, and if it starts making payments too, why would anyone need a bank card?
Unfortunately, no online casinos that we know of have started using Apple pay for online payments. It is a promising prospect, and there is a lot of talk of it in the industry. With the increasing popularity of mobile casinos along with mobile everything, Apple pay would be welcomed by online casino players.

China has 15 supported bank, ANZ adopted the payment method for Visa cards in Australia. Canada has support for most major banks. Singapore has support for their five major banks. France, Hong Kong, and Switzerland were next, and they all have varying amount of support, but more retailers and banks are getting on board every day. Japan, Span, New Zealand and Russia, are the most recent countries to start accepting the payment method. Apple Pay can be used in the company of the user’s bank. As more banks and countries start to adopt this payment method more currencies will be supported.
Areas of Use
It is still early days for Apple Pay and only time will tell how entrenched this payment method will become in the world’s financial systems. Bank of America is outfitting ATMs with cash out options to withdraw using Apple Pay, and it is embedded into a lot of apps, when they are downloaded from the app store. Delta, Etsy, Fancy, Groupon, Kickstarter, Priceline, Starbucks, Ticketmaster, Uber, and Zara are some of the bigger companies that do this.
How it Works
Apple Pay stores your payment credentials by creating a tokenized Device Account Number (DAN). This is an incredible security feature. It means that neither Apple or the merchant get access to your account numbers. Instead a dynamic security code is created for each transaction.
To use Apple Pay you hold your phone up to the contactless point of sale, and confirm the payment by holding you finger on the Iphone’s touch ID sensor, or you can double tap on an Apple Watch. The NFC antenna then sends the information and money is taken from your regular banking account. You don’t need to make a new account, and there are no third-party payment services. Users can also remotely lock the service on a lost phone via the Find My iPhone service.
To pay in supported iOS apps, users choose Apple Pay as their payment method and authenticate with Touch ID. To add cards to the service you take a photo of the card, or enter the card information manually into your ITunes account.
